In 1956 I went to Alaska with my missionary parents. I grew up on the banks of the Yukon and Tanana Rivers, graduating from Nenana High School. In 1974, I married Debbie Meyers. I am a graduate of Alaska Bible College (BA, Glennallen, AK; 1975), and Multnomah Biblical Seminary (MDiv, Portland, OR; 1995). Having served churches in Glennallen, AK, Anchorage, AK and Portland, OR, I have been in pastoral ministry for more than thirty years. I am deeply committed to seeing people understand God’s desires for their lives, and to grow in their love, service and devotion to Him. Helping the larger Church experience biblical unity (John 17:20-22) is an important part of Mission. I carry a particular burden for small churches that are in need of restoration, and for ministry to pastors. Debbie and I have four children and one grandchild.
